This Day In History: NATO Expands and Mutates

Mark Hasiuk reviews NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and notes its expansion and mutation after its original objective – encircling the Soviet Union to keep them in check – came to an end with the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Is NATO now a monstrous war machine in search of a war – any war? Mark suggests a possible backlash to NATO’s reluctance to put down its sword.

Most BC Political Parties are Against Smart Meters – Why Aren’t You?

Kari Simpson and Ron Gray have already made their stand (and built their cages) to fend off the dangerous, intrusive, and much hated Smart/dumb Meters. Now listen to Una St. Clair of Citizens For Safe Technology (.org) about the growing grassroots movement to protect our health, our homes, our privacy, our money, and our civil rights.

Did you know? Smart Meters – made in China, assembled in the U.S. – have not been approved for safety by the Canadian Standards Association or Underwriter’s Laboratory. Your home insurance might not cover the damage done to your home when your Smart Meter starts a fire, as many already have. Insurance can never recover the health consequences that Smart Meters have been documented to cause. Your electricity bill may triple – or more!

Are you ready to stand up for your rights? Are you ready to protect yourself? Are you ready to get smart and Fight Smart Meters?

VPD Fail #1: Why Cops Should Take Notes!

Attention Vancouver Police Chief Constable Jim Chu: This 3-part series is dedicated to you in the hope that you will learn how wasteful and ineffective your officers can be when they are bias and don’t take notes.

Ron Gray interviews Culture Guard President Kari Simpson about the better-late-than-never Freedom of Information package from the Vancouver Police Department regarding the alleged investigation of a “complaint” involving the Out In School program and the Queer Film Festival that she allegedly filed with them. Lo and behold, the facts are finally emerging! And the facts don’t bode well for the VPD.

In the first of three parts (stay tuned on March 17 and 20 for Parts 2 and 3, respectively), we finally hear the wild fabrication that VPD Constable Eric Lott filed from his faulty memory more than a week after meeting with Kari. Having taken no notes, and admitting to no expertise in investigating porn!  Constable Lott admits to filling in the blanks by using “Google” for much of his report!

Jodie Emery and Legalizing Cannabis in Canada?!

Was MARC EMERY sold out by the Vancouver Police Department and turned over to a foreign country for allegedly breaking that foreign county’s laws while never leaving Canada?  Marc is currently serving a 5-year jail sentence in the U.S. for – as the DEA documents admits – political activism promoting the legalization of pot.

Mark Hasiuk interviews JODIE EMERY, Marc Emery’s wife, about the current state of cannabis culture in Canada. Prohibition, decriminalization and legalization are covered, as well as the social, economic, and health impacts of pot use. This is a fun, fiery, informative exchange!!

Whatcott is Crazy! (But Not Insane)

Warning! Graphic discussion with pictures

Freedom of Speech superhero Bill Whatcott (FreeNorthAmerica.ca) speaks to Kari Simpson and Ron Gray about his latest battle. While distributing 100% factual fliers about the dangers of promiscuous homosexual sex – complete with censored photos – Bill was arrested and then threatened with incarceration in a mental institution! In Canada, is speaking the truth now considered “insane”?

VPD Fail #2: Cops Blow an “Investigation” of

Their Own Made-Up Charges!

This 3-part series is dedicated to Vancouver Police Chief Constable Jim Chu, who needs all the help he can get to put his clown posse straight.

In Part 2, Culture Guard President Kari Simpson details to Ron Gray how the Vancouver Police Department “investigated” charges that were made up by Constable Eric Lott, who – after refusing to take notes, and refusing to accept a detailed written explanation of the charges – later fabricated outlandish charges based on faulty memory, preconceived notions, and web surfing. Yes, Constable Lott Googled Kari Simpson!

Wasting valuable police time (and taxpayer dollars) chasing phantoms instead of clarifying the charges with the complainant, the VPD ambled through a farcical “investigation” of telephone interviews and Internet searches. They concluded that Lott’s charges were unsubstantiated. Kari Simpson’s charges have yet to be investigated!
