RKR launches drive to have the Baynes’
children returned to home and parents
RoadKill Radio wants answers from the Ministry of Children and Family and has become a champion for the Bayne family in their struggle to be reunited with their children.
That decision was announced on-air by Kari Simpson March 8 after Paul and Zabeth Bayne appeared in studio to relate their story—a story that included information that a Ministry official had admitted—in court—falsifying a document, and the story of a four-pound premature baby being seized in hospital, only five hours after his birth!
The Bayne’s story, as they related it to Kari Simpson and Terry O’Neill, began with an injury suffered by their new-born daughter, Bethany, in October of 2007. Zabeth Bayne had just finished feeding Bethany, she said, and had put the child onto a blanket on the floor, when their second son ran around a corner, tripped and fell onto Bethany.

Parents for Democracy in Education is an organization that tries to stop the teachers’ union from forcing one-sided information about dangerous, medically unsafe sexual practices into the classroom. When PDE vice-president (and occasional RKR co-host) Ron Gray was a guest on RoadKill Radio’s March 8 broadcast, he not only outlined the organization’s strategy, he also exposed how the “downstream” media distorts coverage on this issue, on which it has already adopted a position.
March 6, PDE issued a “Parents’ Alert” informing the public of a booklet being distributed by the BC Teachers’ Federation—Gender Spectrum, published by Pride Education Network (formerly Gay And Lesbian Educators of BC). That booklet describes “gender” as “a spectrum” and “a product of the mind”; it says there is really a range of many gender identities besides male and female; and that gender identity development happens from birth to death. Furthermore, Gender Spectrum says there is no “correct” style of expression for males or females; and says “Being transgender or gender non-conforming is normal and healthy.” …full story

That decision was announced on-air by Kari Simpson March 8 after Paul and Zabeth Bayne appeared in studio to relate their story—a story that included information that a Ministry official had admitted—in court—falsifying a document, and the story of a three-pound premature baby being seized in hospital, only five hours after his birth!
The Bayne’s story, as they related it to Kari Simpson and Terry O’Neill, began with an injury suffered by their new-born daughter, Bethany, in October of 2007. Zabeth Bayne had just finished feeding Bethany, she said, and had put the child onto a blanket on the floor, when their second son ran around a corner, tripped and fell onto Bethany.
The Baynes took Bethany to the hospital, where the doctor on duty said, “She’ll be fine.”
“But you knew something was still wrong with her, so you persisted,” Kari interjected.
“Yes,” said Zabeth. “It was approximately three weeks we spent going from Emergency to public clinics; calling the public health line, asking for advice. And during those three weeks, the medical professionals noted, but allowed our daughter’s head to swell six centimeters; and she was constantly vomiting, she got dehydrated; and I think that those three weeks caused more extensive damage to her than what would have happened if she had been treated…”
One doctor told the Baynes she could not “step on the toes of a colleague” by reporting the first mis-diagnosis.
October 18, 2007 the Baynes took Bethany to Children’s Hospital; Oct. 22 all three of their children were apprehended by the Ministry of Children and Families. They said there was suspicion of Shaken Baby Syndrome.
Their second son, Braden, was born prematurely, with a condition called osteopenia, a form of brittle-bone disease. When he suffered a fracture, the Ministry reviewed the case, but closed the file in two weeks.
But the Baynes were now on the Ministry’s radar. So when Bethany was taken to Children’s Hospital, they began to investigate.
But in spite of the Baynes’ requests, the Ministry was not seeking a second medical opinion.
“After the removal (of the children), we had a family meeting October 31, 2007,” Zabeth said. “We were told that the Ministry was not seeking a second opinion—we had asked for one—and if we wanted that, we’d have to seek that on our own.
“That started us on a journey of trying to find experts that knew child abuse issues; that could review her files and the films, and provide a second medical opinion…”
Paul interjected: “In court, we found out that a report, dated Oct. 22nd, was falsified by the Ministry. They knew that Baden’s situation was osteopenia, but when they wrote up the letter, they called it ‘unexplained fractures’. Our lawyer got him to admit, ‘Yes, that was falsified.’”
For the three years that the Baynes have been fighting for the return of their children, they have been limited to two visits a week. The two boys are in one foster home and Bethany in a different foster home. They have lost their home, their grand piano (Zabeth teaches piano), and Paul has lost jobs because of phone calls telling his employers, “They’re dangerous to be around children.”
Then last February, Zabeth gave birth to their third son—about a month premature and weighing only three pounds, 15 ounces. The tiny baby was snatched (apprehended) by the Ministry five hours after he was born. Social workers then decided to remove the tiny baby from the hospital!
Paul Bayne said, “They put him in a car seat to take him out of the hospital, and he didn’t fit the car seat; they had to stuff towels underneath the straps in order to make up the room!”
Terry O’Neill was astonished: “Even though the judge’s decision on the other apprehensions was going to come just a week following this birth… and there was a chance—at least 50/50, one would think—that the judge was going to say, ‘Clean slate! Go!’… any sort of scenario says: ‘Let’s let them keep the baby for a week—in hospital; keep them in the hospital; they can’t do any harm… keep them in hospital until this ruling comes down. And they didn’t even do that?!?”
Paul: “No.”
Kari: Simpson—who has battled the Ministry over many previous cases—declared: “They are duty-bound to do what’s ‘in the best interests of the child’. Isn’t it in the best interest of the child to be given mother’s colostrum? We know how essential that is to the health of a new baby—especially a premature baby. Mother’s milk, nurturing—all those things; every act they did was contrary to the best interests of the child!
“Regardless of what the Minister does,” Kari Simpson said, “I’m going to swear an affidavit and put it on your child’s file, so that those kids can sue the *** off the ministry when they get to a legal age to do so…
“Whether or not we can get the judges to apply the law—because we have another problem we have in this province, in this country: that judges are unaccountable… judges hide behind the ministry; they’re so fearful of making a wrong decision and having it come back to bite them; their reputation takes precedence over the interests of your children!”
Near the end of Tuesday’s broadcast, Kari Simpson said, “I want to tell our audience, if they write the ministry, please send a copy to us at RoadKill Radio.
She continued: “My question is: ‘What does Minister Polack know about this?’ Obviously, people have written to her… What’s her response?”
Paul: “It’s been the same response: Because it’s before the courts, she can’t get involved…
Kari: “Like hell she can’t!… This has got to end… the abuse of children, under the guise of ‘the best interests of the children’…
Terry: “Abuse of parents, too!”
Kari declared: “We will not let this one down… I know in the ‘downstream media’ you’ve had some good coverage; but there isn’t consistent coverage. There aren’t updates—weekly, if we need to do it. And any social workers, if you’re watching… Madame Minister, when you get a copy of this: we will not let this story go. Know that now.”

Gray had sent a copy of Gender Spectrum to internationally-renowned expert on gender and education, Dr. Leonard Sax, author of Boys Adrift and Girls on the Edge.
Dr. Sax’s concise summary of the 62-page booklet: “Thoughtless… Badly-written… Silly.”
BCTF has also issued guides for teachers, telling them how to incorporate ideas from Gender Spectrum into the classroom. Those suggestions include students cross-dressing, or role-playing as “transgenders”—males in female bodies and/or females in male bodies.
PDE also informed parents of three pro-homosexual events planned by BCTF: a “Day of Silence” April 15; a “Day Against Homophobia” May 17; and a “Week Against Homophobia” May 17-21—and recommended that parents protect their children from BCTF brainwashing by keeping them home from school while those events are on.
On the same program segment was Doris Darvasi, president of REAL Women BC, advocating a voucher system that would allow parents to choose alternatives to the government’s tax-funded monopoly on schools.
The broadcast also played a clip of a radio interview with Gray March 7. On The World Today, CKNW host Jon McComb said “The idea that anyone gets up one morning and says, ‘I think I’ll be a homosexual’ is a ridiculous statement.”
“But it’s not a statement I ever made,” Gray said. “Jon McComb is putting words in my mouth—then calling those words ‘ridiculous’. The factual statements I made to reporter Brett Mineer—like a study published in the Journal of the Canadian Medical Association and in the International Journal of Epidemiology, that says homosexual behaviour shortens life expectancy by up to 20 years—got edited out.
“A journalist like Terry O’Neill asks where these ideas come from. They didn’t.”
Doris Darvasi interjected: “What’s being said here… is easily researchable.”
Co-host Kari Simpson queried: “Why can’t this sort of discussion take place in the ‘downstream’ media? A BCTF document acknowledges the higher prevalence of low self-esteem and emotional distress… among LGBTQ students.”
“They would say that’s because of social rejection,” co-host Terry O’Neill pointed out.
“But it’s not true,” said Gray. “In the Netherlands and Belgium, where homosexuality and even same-sex ‘marriage’ have been accepted for 15 or 20 years, the same higher incidence of psychological distress is found among homosexuals.”
Doris Darvasi summed up: “We are the primary educators of our children; nobody will ever love my child the way I love my child. I want the best for my child; so when I see things happening that are not the best—an agenda grown-ups have, and they’re using the public school system for their own agenda—I get seriously upset.
“Take your children out of school April 15,” she urged. “But you also have to sit down with them and talk to them about what’s going on in the school. That’s a parental responsibility.
“We have a lot of good teachers; but the BCTF will clamp down on them if they poke their nose up,” she added
“I would challenge the BCTF to take their own advice, and become better informed,” said Kari Simpson.

On the heels of the squeaker elevation of broadcaster-politician-soccer Mom Christy Cark to be BC’s next Premier, RoadKill Radio has exposed several serious flaws in the process of that election. On RKR’s March 1 broadcast, BC First leader Chris Delaney joined Kari Simpson and Terry O’Neill in studio to inform listeners and viewers of the two major concerns:
1—Foreign influence in BC politics
Vancouver researcher Vivian Krause, by studying documents filed in the USA, found that The Tides Foundation, an arm of billionaire Leftist financier George Soros’ political network, through the Seattle-based Wilberforce Foundation, may have been behind money poured into the coffers of “Organizing for Change”, a BC-based group of environmental extremists devoted to stopping tanker traffic on the BC coast.
RoadKill Radio researchers found that $20,000 was donated to the campaign of Premier-designate Christy Clark by sometime lobbyist and former Liberal campaign chairman Patrick Kinsella, who was involved in the sale of BC Rail to CNR—acting, at various times, for both the buyer and the seller.
Mr. Kinsella’s Vancouver-based political counsel firm, Progressive Strategies, has the same name as an American Political Action Consulting firm, named: Progressive Strategies. Progressive Strategies, U.S., has a posted this website motto: Fully-Intergrated Issue Campaigns With a Political Punch, and boosts radical Leftist clients like ACORN, PAW (People for the American Way), Pro-Choice America and Planned Parenthood.
The Kinsella firm gave $54,000+ to the BC Liberals between 2005 and 2009. Its American namesake publishes a PowerPoint presentation and booklets on its web-site, telling Leftist politicians how to use fake “family values” and seemingly “conservative” economic talking points to lure voters to their anti-family policies.
BC Firstparty leader Chris Delaney has asked Elections BC to investigate the money trail of foreign funding of the selection of a new BC Premier.
On RoadKill Radio, Mr. Delaney told Kari Simpson and Terry O’Neill: “A group out of the United States called The Tides Foundation USA—a big umbrella organization—billions of dollars—that people like George Soros, the Rockefellers, Bill Gates and others… use to engineer… and influence elections in other jurisdictions…
“All of a sudden policy is being driven by people outside the province… we (BC First) reported the story to Elections BC and asked what could be done…
“The Chief Electoral Officer… responded to me this morning on the third go-round: ‘Elections BC has no jurisdiction to interfere or to be involved in how a political party conducts its leadership contest’… short of breaking the actual law, they don’t get involved…
“In terms of financing a political candidate for office or a political party, again, Elections BC has very little to say… a foreign jurisdiction can donate money, can be involved… it has to be reported as an election expense…
“But in this case, what [Soros’] Tides [Foundation] did was, they gave the money to the Wilberforce Foundation (of Seattle), which gave money to Organizing for Change in BC; what they did was, they sent out letters to 28,000 [people in BC] mostly activists from the Left—environmental activists—to join the Party… to stop tanker traffic off the coast of BC…
“Chief Electoral Officer said that if there is a discrepancy after the reports are filed, they would act on that…
“This group—Organizing for Change—did not do what they did on behalf of the Liberal Party; they did it on behalf of themselves. They said, ‘You guys go out and join this Party so you can elect a Premier who will stop tanker traffic (because that’s their issue) off the coast of British Columbia.’
“They’re completely legally entitled to do that; but I think that’s wrong. I don’t care what the issue is—the issue doesn’t matter; the issue aside, no foreign group with foreign money should be allowed to agitate and to influence an election in British Columbia—especially one, although you may call it an internal election, you’re electing a party leader; but you’re actually electing the Premier of British Columbia; that’s a huge hole in the law and it needs to be fixed.”
2—Confusion in the Liberal Party’s voting procedure
There was also reason for serious concern about the “disaster” of the voting procedure: confusion surrounded the Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) issued by the Liberal Party to allow members to vote on-line. RoadKill Radio learned that a caller to a Vancouver talk show said he got a PIN—but had never been a member of the Liberal Party!
Mr. Delaney pointed out another serious concern: thousands of Liberal Party Members did not get their PINs until the day before the vote; and there could be many who did not get their PIN at all.
“The Liberal Party claims they signed up another 60,000 new members for a total of 90,000,” said Mr. Delaney.
[Researcher Vivian Krause notes that the Liberal Party had 30,000 members in BC before the campaign started; the Wilberforce Foundation in Seattle had nearly 70,000 members. When the campaign ended, the BC Liberal Party had nearly 100,000 members—a suspicious co-incidence.]
“They had 61.8 percent of the people actually vote in the election,” said Mr. Delaney. “Christy Clark won the premiership, or the leadership of her party, by 380 votes total; but 30,000 people didn’t vote!
“Now, that’s very different than a general election, where a lot of people just don’t care to vote; when you sign up for a political party, it’s so you can vote. When one-third of the people who are members of your party—who signed up to vote—don’t vote, there’s a problem!…
“Most of the people—a huge number: tens of thousands—did not get their PIN until Friday… Thousands of those people might have been out of town… What that means is that many people didn’t get to vote. If everyone had voted, that might not have been the person chosen. It was a disaster!”
Kari Simpson asked, “Is the Liberal Party doing anything about it? Is there an investigation? Is Kevin Falcon saying, ‘Wait a minute—let’s re-evaluate this, or have a second look.’?”
Chris Delany replied: “They’re all holding hands under the rainbow.”

Kari Simpson demands an Apology & Explanation!
LANGLEY, BC Dec. 10, 2009 (RKRadioNews) — Kari Simpson’s most prized possession from this week’s H1N1 briefing by the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Perry Kendall, is a recording of a telephone company functionary telling her “The government doesn’t want RoadKill Radio to attend”—in spite of the fact that she had a personal invitation from Dr. Kendall to participate.
That invitation had come at the conclusion of a long exchange of correspondence in which she sought an interview with the PHO.
Simpson is demanding an apology from Dr. Kendall and wants an explanation. She is also calling for an inquiry into reports— confirmed for her from two independent sources—of the vaccine-related death of a Lower Mainland mother of six children.
Background – Kari Simpson, co-host of RoadKill Radio, had written to Dr. Kendall at his behest, providing questions she had intended to present to him in an interview on RoadKill Radio, concerning the H1N1 vaccine. Dr. Kendall had responded to her Dec 2, 2009 correspondence, and in his reply he invited her to attend his weekly briefings concerning H1N1 Pandemic Flu.
The briefings are held in Victoria, and participation can be facilitated by attending in person or by phone. Mrs. Simpson called the number provided, and identified herself and the media outlet she works for, RoadKill Radio. She was thanked, and advised that the briefing would soon commence. As Dr. Kendall began his briefing, Ms. Simpson listened to the updates. Dr Kendall was just about to broach the subject of the vaccines when the call was interrupted by a conference call technician, and Ms. Simpson was advised that “the government didn’t want her to attend.” (Click here for a copy of the transcript)
Despite a personal invitation from Dr. Kendall, Mrs. Simpson was banished from the briefing.
“I’m amused at the overt stupidity demonstrated by the Campbell government.” Mrs. Simpson said today. “Do they really believe British Columbians will tolerate state censorship? I have to admit that the best endorsement our media outlet can get is to have on the record a statement saying ‘The Government doesn’t want RoadKill Radio to attend’ a government briefing—a briefing paid for by BC taxpayers!
“You know you’re doing something right when that happens!” stated Simpson.

BC’s Provincial Health Officer refuses live interview to discuss H1N1 vaccine manufacturer’s safety warnings
Kari Simpson, Co-host of RoadKillRadio.com has written to BC’s Provincial Health Officer (PHO), Dr. Perry Kendall, after he refused to appear on RoadKillRadio to answer questions regarding the H1N1 Vaccine—questions specifically addressing the at-best-questionable testing of the vaccine, and whether British Columbians can truly provide “informed consent” when they agreed to the vaccination.
The questions refer to the vaccine manufacturer’s own information, contained in their Product Information Guide (PIG). This leaflet was published Oct. 21, 2009 by GlaxoSmithKline, the manufacturer of the ASO3-Adjuvanted H1N1 Pandemic Influenza Vaccine.
In her letter to Dr. Kendall, Mrs. Simpson asks:
Question 21 – Hypothetically speaking, if a PHO does not fulfill the duty to provide crucial information to the citizenry, thus resulting in thousands of men, women and children ignorantly subjecting themselves to a medical procedure/experiment that the PHO knows (or should know) is unproven and potentially dangerous, in your opinion should he or she:
a. Advise the public of the facts and resign
b. Resign
c. Continue to communicate information that fails to provide the facts, thus knowingly endanger the lives of British Columbians.
On behalf of British Columbians, Mrs. Simpson also asks this question concerning data collection:
“GlaxoSmithKline states in the PIG on page 23:
“‘Children 6—35 months: 0.25mL/dose (NO clinical data are available for influenza vaccines with ASO3 in this age group)’
Question 3 – Have you—in keeping with your legislative mandate to “provide information” and to “report”—stated anywhere on the public record GlaxoSmithKline’s admission, as quoted above concerning 6-35-month-old babies and toddlers, that “no clinical data are available for influenza vaccines with ASO3 in this age group”?
Question 4 – Have you, on the public record, warned parents that their children were being used in an experiment? If so, please provide details of where and when this has been stated or recorded.
Question 5 – Some media personalities (e.g., Christy Clark on CKNW) have called those who may refuse to inject this toxic, experimental concoction into their bodies, and/or their children’s bodies, “bad Canadians.” Do you agree with her? Or is she being irresponsible?
As RoadKillRadio co-host, Kari Simpson interviewed Dr. Christopher Shaw, a neuroscientist and a Professor at the University of British Columbia, about the HI1N1 vaccine. Dr. Shaw has researched the available data—what little there is—and told RoadKillRadio he has concerns about “the lack of testing and the efficacy of the vaccine.”
Dr. Shaw, when asked, said he would welcome the opportunity to appear on RoadKillRadio with Dr. Perry Kendall. (Click here to listen to Dr. Shaw on RoadKill Radio.)
Nov. 17 Kari Simpson contacted Dr. Kendall’s office to request an interview with PHO Dr. Kendall, in person or by phone, whichever suited him best. The proposed show date was for Nov. 24, a full week later.
Ms. Simpson received a return call within minutes, advising that Dr. Kendall was unavailable. Ms. Simpson then offered: “Any Tuesday then, pick one.”
The answer was: “Dr Kendall would not be able to do that long of an interview” (45 minutes).
Ms. Simpson, wanting to accommodate Dr. Kendall, then offered to shorten the time, or pre-tape the interview, or have another spokesperson from his office on the program. She was advised that she would be called back.
Jeff Groot, a senior public affairs official with BC Healthy Living, contacted Mrs. Simpson asking what the proposed interview would be about.
Mrs. Simpson advised him there was growing concern about the information being asserted by Dr. Kendall about the H1N1 vaccine’s safety, in light of the lack of testing. She also explained that issues around informed consent should be explored.
Mr. Groot said Dr. Kendall would not appear, but was willing to respond to written questions; he provided an e-mail address.
Ms. Simpson has written to Dr. Kendall, including a total of 23 questions that need to be asked and answered promptly. She has requested that he respond by Dec. 1, 2009. His responses will be featured on www.RoadKillRadio.com, which is accessible at that address live every Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., with previous programs archived for access at any time.
