Alice and her growing movement are battling Canada's archaic and illogical laws against fresh milk – that is, milk that hasn't been destroyed by homogenization and pasteurization. Fresh milk – also called raw milk – has a proven track record as being more healthy (and less dangerous!) than processed milk, yet the processing industry is holding dairy farmers down with their stranglehold on politicians.
